How to Find AI Conversational Queries In Google Search Console? #SEO #searchengineoptimization

SEO professionals can identify conversational-style search queries in Google Search Console.

The video discusses techniques for finding long, conversational queries that people might use when speaking to AI search engines like Google AI Mode, Gemini, or ChatGPT Search, rather than traditional typed keyword searches. These queries are typically much longer and phrased like natural human conversation.

Several SEO experts shared regex (regular expression) patterns to filter for these conversational queries in Google Search Console:

Here is a regex pattern to find queries in GSC longer than 32 words: ([^” “]*s){32,}?

Also, look at queries with low impressions (1-10) where AI search engines might leave traces.

This is all a workaround method, not an official Google feature. While Google has announced that AI Mode queries will eventually appear in Search Console reporting, they haven’t been implemented yet. The experts acknowledge these long queries might just be regular Google searches rather than specifically AI-generated queries, but the techniques help identify potential AI search traffic patterns.

The motivation is that as more people use conversational AI search tools, SEOs want to understand how these longer, more natural language queries are driving traffic to their websites.
