When I Googled time freedom with affiliate marketing this morning 1,400,000 people were doing the same. When you think of the time-saving gadget we have now compared to a 100 years ago we should be ENJOYING much more time freedom. I remember stories of my Granddad walking 7 miles just to visit my grandma for the afternoon and how hard she worked even in her 80s and 90s.
When I was a child we lived with them, there was no washing machine, vacuum or other gadgets, not even an iron, it was a flat-iron you heated on the fire, it certainly made you iron fast before it went cold! So no washing machine only a huge mangle with a bucket under, to catch the water, a copper in the corner to boil sheets, and buckets of water lined up to rinse them with something called a “bluebag” to keep the linen white.
Are you watching the current series of life in the 50’s and 60’s. I remember them well it’s funny to watch how we lived. So back to time-freedom, why with all these time-saving gadgets has life become more frantic, so that people long for the weekend, for holidays and take sick leave.
Why is everyone so stressed? Is it due to less physical exercise. Or have we become lazy, or intolerant and greedy? Have we become more dissatisfied with our lot, whereas years ago people just got on with life, didn’t expect so much, felt lucky if they had enough to eat, a fire and a roof over their heads.
Well probably the way you are going to get the time-freedom you crave is by working for yourself, not necessarily owning a huge concern with staff and more worries: just a business online you can take care of yourself. Out-sourcing jobs you can’t or don’t want to do!
